M.O.S.C. is offering supplemental training this spring.  

Mount Olive Soccer Club is proud to announce our soccer circuit for Spring of 2012. We have multiple programming to choose from.  We will have 2 four week sessions to enable players to choose a variety of options to enhance their soccer skills this fall. Training will be provided by highly qualified trainers from Advanced Total Soccer including ex professional James Quinn.

Following is a list of Mount Olive Soccer Club program options:

Mount Olive Little Stars:A perfect introduction to group play and sports, MOSC Little Stars is designed to introduce the game of soccer to the pre-school age child.  Soccer professionals will focus on improving motor, social and soccer skills in a friendly and fun environment while teaching proper soccer techniques! 

This program is available for players ages 4-5 at a cost of $50 per 4 week session.

Mount Olive Striker School:For players interested in advanced development of their shooting, driving, and set piece technique.  This program will focus on manipulating the different foot positions, follow through, and contact points (of ball and foot), in order to get the most out of modern soccer balls, in live play goal scoring and free kick situations.

This program is available for players ages 8-14 at a cost of $80 per 4 week session.

Mount Olive Footskills:This footskill programs covers mastery of the ball: for touch, quick feet, separation from a defender, improvisation, and coordination. 

This program is available for players ages 8-14 at a cost of $50 per 4 week session.

Mount Olive Speed/Power and Quickness:This program will structure a soccer specific strength program around each individual althletes needs and demands. Through the use of plyometrics, core training, and lower and upper body strength training exercises each athlete will increase their power production and force reduction abilities.  It will focus on speed, speed endurance, agility, and power production movements.  Soccer is a skill dominant sport, which requires executing quick stops and starts during the state of fatigue.  Athletes will also have a full understanding of training and how the training they are doing relates to their performance during competition.

This program is available for players ages 8-14 at a cost of $50 per 4 week session.

Mount Olive Small Group Skills: This program focuses on basic individual technique in a very personal environment.  Teaching ratios are anywhere from 1:1 - 1:4 allowing for each players strengths and weaknesses to be identified and improved. Topics covered - Footwork, Dribbling/Shielding/ Passing/Control/Turning/Playing out of the air.

 This program is available for players ages 8-14 at a cost of $80 per 4 week session.
